Abstract

Creating effective workforce management strategies to retain IT professionals in the public sector has proven to be challenging in light of the competition between the private and public sector for next generation IT professionals. This session aims to investigate the challenges that affect recruitment and retention and introduce the importance of talent management in shaping an effective workforce strategy.
