TITLE- Data Technologies for Lower Limb Orthosis Design and Assessment Thesis DOI: 10.5258/SOTON/T0047 The thesis featured participant testing (Chapter 3) and secondary analysis of MR and clinical data (Chapters 4-6). Due to participant confidentiality constraints of the original study ethics, the imaging data are not enclosed in this raw data file. This dataset contains: A simple Excel spreadsheet containing the raw data behind the tables and figures in the linked thesis. Test conditions included combinations of ES and Push AFO, bamboo and cotton sock, gait and standing. Pressure data - formed Tables 3.3, 3.4 and Figures 3.8, 3.9, 3.10 Pressure case study - formed Table 3.5 and Figures 3.13, 3.14 Microclimate data - formed Tables 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9 and Figures 3.15, 3.16, 3.17, 3.18 Microclimate case study - formed Figure 3.19 Questionnaire data - formed Figure 3.20 Chapter 4 data: Contains model predictions for the AFO models for 5 participants (N1-5), using the following key for the AFO configurations: Normal_PP - Flat 6mm thick AFO, made entirely from polypropylene, Normal_C - Flat AFO, with 4.5mm polypropylene with 1.5mm Poron Cushioning layer, Undersize_PP - Undersized 6mm thick AFO, made entirely from polypropylene, Undersize_C - Undersized AFO, with 4.5mm polypropylene with 1.5mm Poron Cushioning layer. Chapter 5 data: Contains the clinical data, morphological measurements, and model predictions for 13 participants with RA (RA1-13) and 1 healthy participant. Chapter 6 data: Contains the model predictions for the FO models for 13 participants with RA (RA1-13), using the following key for the FO configurations: L_EVA - leather shoe with an EVA orthosis, L_PC - leather shoe with a Poron Cushioning orthosis, L_PF - leather shoe with a Poron Firm orthosis, L_PP - leather shoe with a combined Poron Firm and Plastazote orthosis, T_PC - training shoe with a Poron Cushioning orthosis, T_PF - training shoe with a Poron Firm orthosis, T_PP - training shoe with a combined Poron Firm and Plastazote orthosis.
