Exploring the use of narrative CVs in the NIHR: a mixed method qualitative study
The report describes a mixed method qualitative study that explored the use of
narrative CVs in the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). The report
presents a thematic framework and recommendations developed from findings of secondary
and documentary analysis of data provided by the Royal Society on research culture and
thematic analysis of focus groups and interviews with NIHR stakeholders. This study is part of
a wider programme of work to explore the use of narrative CVs within the NIHR.

Abstract

The report describes a mixed method qualitative study that explored the use of
