The second section investigates the action of the conformal group of R3 on the space of cyclides, noting which classes of cyclides are obtainable as the images of a given symmetric cyclide under a conformal transformation of R30{}onto itself. The orbits of this group action are found to be quadric cones, between which a certain duality exists.

Abstract

The second section investigates the action of the conformal group of R3 on the space of cyclides, noting which classes of cyclides are obtainable as the images of a given symmetric cyclide under a conformal transformation of R30{}onto itself. The orbits of this group action are found to be quadric cones, between which a certain duality exists.
