High-finesse large band Fabry-Perot fibre filter with superimposed chirped Bragg gratings

High-finesse large band Fabry-Perot fibre filter with superimposed chirped Bragg gratings
High-finesse large band Fabry-Perot fibre filter with superimposed chirped Bragg gratings
Filters with 100 GHz free spectral range (FSR) and finesse up to 16 are demonstrated over the 1525 to 1583 nm band. The photoinduced birefringence results in a polarisation-dependent spectral response. Finesse and FSR uniformity are addressed.

Abstract

Filters with 100 GHz free spectral range (FSR) and finesse up to 16 are demonstrated over the 1525 to 1583 nm band. The photoinduced birefringence results in a polarisation-dependent spectral response. Finesse and FSR uniformity are addressed.
