Traitors in Vienna during the 1848 revolution

Traitors in Vienna during the 1848 revolution
Traitors in Vienna during the 1848 revolution
This is a study of how treason and traitors erupted in Vienna during the revolution of 1848. It focuses on the case of Anton von Hye and then moves to examine the treatment of so-called traitors during the October revolution. It argues that the latter situation allowed for far less compromise and therefore a severe retribution against those showing disloyalty to the Habsburgs.
