DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA

This dataset contains: The dataset comprises the 5 interview transcripts obtained from participants in the research. Interviews explored the experiences participants had when supporting their relative with a learning disability and/or autism repatriate back to Guernsey following an off-island specialist residential or hospital placement

All interviews were conducted face-to-face and recorded using a Dictaphone.  All interviews are transcribed with all pauses, hesitancies and vocal ticks left in. Names and places have been anonymised. Anonymised geographical locations are flagged as either Guernsey or UK

The interviews are:

Participant 1, female relative of male adult with LD and/or Autism
Participant 2, female and male relative of male adult with LD and/or Autism
Participant 3, female relative of female adult with LD and/or Autism
Participant 4, male relative of male adult with LD and/or Autism
Participant 5, female relative of male adult with LD and/or Autism
