Periodic highly birefringent filters with 50 and 100 GHz free spectral range and finesse of up to 20 are demonstrated. With a polarisation peak separation of 25 GHz, the polarisation crosstalk was measured to be less than −16 dB.

Abstract

Periodic highly birefringent filters with 50 and 100 GHz free spectral range and finesse of up to 20 are demonstrated. With a polarisation peak separation of 25 GHz, the polarisation crosstalk was measured to be less than −16 dB.
