Benthic abyssal microbial dataset from the Atlantic and Pacific

Benthic abyssal microbial dataset from the Atlantic and Pacific
Benthic abyssal microbial dataset from the Atlantic and Pacific
Data that supports the PhD thesis, which is titled "Spatial variability and distribution of benthic microbial diversity in the Atlantic and Pacific". This dataset comprises of 16S amplicon sequences from the microbial communities associated with abyssal sediment, water, holothurian guts and polymetallic nodule samples, as well as CO1 amplicon sequences from holothurian host tissue. Please see the readme.txt file for more detailed information on how the data was processed.

Abstract

Data that supports the PhD thesis, which is titled "Spatial variability and distribution of benthic microbial diversity in the Atlantic and Pacific". This dataset comprises of 16S amplicon sequences from the microbial communities associated with abyssal sediment, water, holothurian guts and polymetallic nodule samples, as well as CO1 amplicon sequences from holothurian host tissue.
