An Image essay exploring diffractive images. In this chapter Dawson and Minkin present digitally imaged artefacts as events. By operating solely as a sequence of interrelated images they highlight the importance of the performative, non-representational and relational approach not only to the making of knowledge. but also to the making of the subjects of knowledge. Dawson and Minkin have assembled the essay by bundling images often from the peripheral moment of activities thus contributing to new forms of debates about a-whereness.

Abstract
An Image essay exploring diffractive images. In this chapter Dawson and Minkin present digitally imaged artefacts as events. By operating solely as a sequence of interrelated images they highlight the importance of the performative, non-representational and relational approach not only to the making of knowledge. but also to the making of the subjects of knowledge. Dawson and Minkin have assembled the essay by bundling images often from the peripheral moment of activities thus contributing to new forms of debates about a-whereness.
