DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA

Quantitative data collected from online cross-sectional survey using the Qualtrics platform.
Data stored as an SPSS file (using SPSS v.28 software).

This dataset contains:

Responses from 561 individuals in recovery from addiction for the following:

- Demographics
- Substance use history (substance(s) used, length of problematic use)
- LDQ: Leeds Dependence Questionnaire
- Frequency of various experience of traumatic events (fixed list)
- Experience of recovery (pt's definition of recovery, number of years in recovery, types of support accessed during recovery, 
- PTGI: Post-Traumatic Growth Inventory
- BFS: Benefit Finding Scale
- MSPSS: Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social support
- ERRI: Event-related Rumination Inventory (deliberate and intrusive)

NB: Blank cells indicate missing data.
