Ultra-wideband IM/DD Transmission over hollow-core fibres

Ultra-wideband IM/DD Transmission over hollow-core fibres
Ultra-wideband IM/DD Transmission over hollow-core fibres
We discuss the use of hollow-core nested antiresonant nodeless fibres (NANFs) for IM/DD transmission. Results of both O+C-band and S+C+L-band transmission experiments are presented, highlighting the potential of NANFs for ultra-wideband and low-latency data communications.

Abstract

We discuss the use of hollow-core nested antiresonant nodeless fibres (NANFs) for IM/DD transmission. Results of both O+C-band and S+C+L-band transmission experiments are presented, highlighting the potential of NANFs for ultra-wideband and low-latency data communications.
