Generation of high-power picosecond optical vortex beams from a Yb-doped multicore fiber amplifier
We demonstrate the generation of optical vortex beams with controllable topological charge of =±1 from a coherently-combined Yb-doped multicore (6-core) fiber amplifier. An average/peak power of 7-W/21.3-kW is achieved for 110-ps pulses.
