High power, single-mode, single-frequency DFB fibre laser at 1550 nm in MOPA configuration
We have experimentally demonstrated fibre DFB laser followed by cladding pumped EYDFA which delivers optical output power in excess of 14 W without any degradation of DFB properties. Measured RIN was < -147 dB/Hz for frequencies above 5 MHz.
