READ ME File For 'Dataset in support of the Southampton doctoral thesis 'Flexible Thermoelectric Energy Generators for E-textiles'' Dataset DOI: 10.5258/SOTON/D2551  ReadMe Author: Aran Amin, University of Southampton 0000-0003-4266-8132 This dataset supports the thesis entitled AWARDED BY: Univeristy of Southampton DATE OF AWARD: 2023 DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA The dataset contains the experimental results in the thesis "Flexible Thermoelectric Energy Generators for E-textiles" which includes Scanning electron microscopy images (collected via JSM 6500 SEM, JEOL Field emission gun Scanning electron microscopy) of the (Bismuth telluirde, Bismuth telluirde selenide, Bismuth antimony telluride and Telluirum) nanostructures as well as containing elemental analysis from energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (collected via a Thermo Scientific Ultra Dray 10 mm2 EDS). Additionally, the dataset contains the nanostructures x-ray diffraction data (collected using a rigaku smartlab) as well as thermoelectric (collected using PTM-3, MRS, JouleYacht portable Seebeck probe and a MRS-3L, JouleYacht) and hall probe data (collected via Nanometrics, HL5500 Hall system) as well as data collected while conducting flexibility testing known as bending test in the files, which will require the Origin graphical software to access. Finally, the data also contains the power output data (power and max voltage) for 4 thermoelectric devices fabricated (5 leg Bismuth telluirde, 1 leg Bismuth antimony telluride + 12 % Tellurium, 3 thermocouple Bismuth telluirde & Bismuth antimony telluride + 12 % Tellurium and 5 leg PVDF-Tellurium composite) at different thermal gradients along with thermal images.
