READ ME File For 'Dataset for Magnetic Retrieval of Prosthetic Heart Valves for redo-TAVI' Dataset DOI: 10.5258/SOTON/D2554 ReadMe Author: Oguz Can Eren, University of Southampton ORCID ID 0000-0002-2665-3611 This dataset supports the thesis entitled Magnetic Retrieval of Proshtetic Heart Valves for redo TAVI AWARDED BY: Univeristy of Southampton DATE OF AWARD: 2023 DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA The .inp files are example input files for ABAQUS 2019 Simulations. The .f file is a fortran95 subroutine file. This dataset contains: *ElectromagnetCurrentSimulations.inp relate to the Electromagnet simulations performed for different electromagnet sizes and their force on ferromagnet regions. The size of the electromagnet and ferromagnet were changed for each iteration in the thesis. VUAMPSubroutineVerification.csv and WireCurrentDensity.csv data are from this simulation setup. *ElectromagnetRemovalSimulations.inp relate to the partial crimping of the exchangeable valve via 4 electromagnets. The VUAMPSubroutine.f file was used in these simulations to mimic a distance related force between the electromagnets and ferromagnetic regions on the frame. StrutWidthCellHeightData.csv holds the data from these simulations performed for frames with varying strut width and cell height dimensions. RadialForceCurves.xlsx holds the radial force curves for each frame design, extracted from the same simulations. *HoldingMemberDeployment.inp is the simulation file for the deployment of the exhangeable valve into a transcatheter holding member simulations. *ReducedVSFullIntegrationData.csv contains the comparison data between the crimping of an exchangeable valve frame with full and reduced integration elements.
