Additional Information: Funding Information: From 2017 to 2018, an “Outgrowers’ program” was conducted to provide training to the farmers about how to improve yield and quality by plant rejuvenation and soil fertility. The programme is supported by coffee experts from the local university and a university from the Netherlands. More specifically, the training includes compost making and application, and rehabilitation of coffee trees (FairChain Foundation, 2019a, b). The productivity is expected to double after putting the training into practice and renovating the farms.
