This dataset is supporting the University of Southampton Doctoral Thesis "Identification of the mechanical behaviour of bone using digital image correlation and the virtual fields method".
This dataset contains:
-The Folder 'GF' - contains images captured from the two cameras (C0, C1) during experiments on glass-fibre epoxy composites. The images are processed with MatchID software.
The processing options are stored in the files 'C0.mti' and 'C1.mti', for the cameras C0 and C1, respectively. The file 'image.csv' contains the name of each pair of images, the time they were collected and the respective force at that time. (Chapter 5).
- The Folder 'Bone' - contains images captured from the two cameras (C0, C1) during experiments on human cortical bone samples.
The images are processed with MatchID software.
The processing options are stored in the files 'C0.mti' and 'C1.mti', for the cameras C0 and C1, respectively. The file 'image.csv' contains the name of each pair of images, the time they were collected and the respective force at that time. (Chapter 6)
-The file 'OffAxis_VFM.m' - contains the MatLab VFM code, which is used in Chapters 4-6.
