Care for older people in Yogyakarta (Indonesia)
This short film depicts the reality of older people’s care on Java. It is the outcome of a comparative, ethnographic research project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) on Older People’s Care Networks in five regions of Indonesia. The study was led by Associate Professor Elisabeth Schroeder-Butterfill from the Gerontology Department and was a collaboration with Atma Jaya Catholic University in Jakarta and the Universities of Oxford and Loughborough in the UK.
