Small-spot direct UV written fiber Bragg gratings in index-guiding photonic crystal fiber
A method for the UV writing of Bragg gratings in germanium doped photonic crystal fiber is presented. This technique uses small-spot direct UV writing to generate transmission spectra at 1550nm.
