Title: High-resolution NEMO4 model of Cumberland Bay, South Georgia, 2001 to 2010 Abstract: This data-set consist of the required model set up files to reproduce a NEMO4 high-resolution model of Cumberland Bay, South Georgia, for the years 2001 to 2010 as described in the thesis 'Oceanographic Variability in Cumberland Bay, South Georgia: Implications for Glacier Retreat and Fisheries Management' Joanna Zanker. Files required to reproduce the process tests detailed in the thesis are also provded with the relevant names. Additional data is required from the ERA5 atmospheric reanalysis data-set (Hersbach et al. 2020) and the South Georgia regional model (Young et al. 2016). The freshwater forcing files (ln_rnf) are labeled 'MODSUB_9010_y*' and are calculated via an offline plume model as detailed in the thesis for which the data is supporting. The model output is managed by xios-2.5. Temporal coverage: The model is able to simulate the years 2000 to 2012, with the year 1999 used as spin-up. The year 2001 to 2010 are analysed in the thesis. Spatial coverage: The model domain is -36.86 to -35.926 longitude and -54.45 to -53.97 latitude. Resolution: The model horizontal resolution is 1/500 degrees in latitude and 1/300 degrees in longitude. In the vertical the levels are gradually stretched such that the layer thickness increases gradually from ~1 m at the surface to ~30 m apart at depth. Location: Cumberland Bay, South Georgia.
