Enhancing the optical properties of hollow core fibre gas cells by selective core pressurisation
We fabricate a hermetically-sealed hollow-core fibre-based gas cell, where
the core is filled with a higher gas pressure than the cladding to enhance
optical performance. Measurements over time indicate no degradation
due to gas permeation.
