A 335-m fiber with a 70-μm diameter, 0.227-NA pure-silica step-index core reaches 15-dB average-power Raman gain for 1112-nm pulses in a high-purity, high-order Bessel-mode (LP07). The 812-W pump peak power is compatible with continuous-wave pumping.

Abstract
