This dataset contains:

1.	Zipped folder – Empirical paper 

.sav file (Belonging Anxiety and Camouflaging survey data. Sav) contains quantitative and qualitative data for surveys and totals for each questionnaire in SPSS format 

. xlsx file (Belonging Anxiety and Camouflaging survey data .xlsx) contains quantitative and qualitative data for surveys and totals for each questionnaire in excel format

2.	Zipped folder – Qualitative synthesis 

.nvp file (Primary aged autistic students experiences.nvp) Coding of papers included in qualitative synthesis. Requires NVivo (version 14)

.docx file (Line by line coding .docx) Line by line codes to be sorted in qualitative synthesis 

3.	Zipped folder – Ethics documents

METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: 

Data for the empirical section was collated from answers to questionnaires and open-ended questions collected using the Qualtrics survey platform. See “Exploring the Impact of School Belonging on Camouflaging and Anxiety in Autistic Students Through Their Voices” for further information on scoring.

Data was imported to and analysed using IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows (version 29)

Data for the qualitative synthesis was collated from published research. See table of included studies in “Exploring the Impact of School Belonging on Camouflaging and Anxiety in Autistic Students Through Their Voices” for further information. 

Data was imported to and analysed using NVivo for Windows (version 14)
