Responses (all experiments) were coded 1 (left stimulus perceived larger) / 2 (right stimulus perceived larger). Conditions (size, shape, orientation combinations) were coded as follows: Size (area): 1 to 4, corresponding to 5, 6.67, 8.33, 10 cm2 across all experiments. Orientation: (Experiment 3 and 4 only): 1 to 3, corresponding to: 1) Canonical, 2) Longer linear length vertical, 3) Longer edge horizontal (Experiment 4 only).
