DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA

Dataset is divided into 3 folders - 'ICP-MS', 'qPCR' and 'Sequence Analysis'

'ICP-MS' folder includes raw data from ICP-MS analysis of metal ion content of barley tissue. ICP-MS was carried out by Rothamsted Research, Harpenden, AL5 2JQ and data analyse was carried out by the author. Folder also includes data analysis and graphs generated to show different ion content in different barley mutants. All data is stored in excel files. 

'qPCR' folder includes excel files of raw qPCR data showing different gene expression in barley tissues. Folder also includes excel files of graphs documenting changes in gene expression and statistical analysis for each data set. All data was collected and analysed by the author.

'Sequence Analysis' folder includes Word files documenting the collection and analysis of gene sequencing, including CRISPR-Cas9 mutant selection. Sequencing data was generated by Eurofins is provided in the form of .abi files. These files required a chromatogram viewer to view. All analysis was carried out by the author.
