This dataset accompanies the Ph.D. diss. titled _Singspiel_ as Practice: Italian Opera in German Translation 1783-1800. 
The dataset contains two separate MS Excel workbooks, with four datasheets in total as detailed below. 
An Introduction sheet prefaces both workbooks with details of contributors, explanation of blank cells and source materials used. 

The first workbook 'Netto_Datasheet1_Vienna_1779_1810' consists of one sheet and an Introduction sheet: 
	Datasheet 1: Performance calendar of music theatre in Vienna, 1779-1810 

The second workbook 'Netto_Datasheets2-4_Pressburg_Pest_1785_1789' consists of three sheets and an Introduction sheet:
	Datasheet 2: Performance calendar of the Erdődy theatre in Pressburg, 1785-1787
	Datasheet 3: Repertory of the Kumpf troupe at the Erdődy theatre, 1785-1789
	Datasheet 4: Performance calendar of the Kumpf troupe at Pest, 1789
