DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA

The dataset encompasses a comprehensive collection of information derived from this study's targeted educational intervention conducted between September and December 2021. This multifaceted dataset is rich in diverse components, including questionnaire results, statistical analyses files, coding documents, lesson plans specifically crafted for the intervention, and a detailed teacher's diary.

Questionnaire Results: The dataset contains the outcomes of meticulously designed two questionnaires administered during the intervention period. These results provide valuable insights into the participants' perceptions, experiences, and progress throughout the educational intervention.

Statistical Analyses Files: To facilitate a robust examination of the intervention's effectiveness, the dataset includes statistical analyses files. These files are structured to support in-depth quantitative assessments, enabling researchers to draw meaningful conclusions from the collected data.

Coding Documents: Comprehensive coding documents are included to facilitate qualitative analyses. These documents outline the coding framework used to categorize and interpret qualitative data, offering a nuanced understanding of the intervention's impact on various aspects. It also contains the coders agreement. 

Lesson Plans: The dataset incorporates lesson plans designed specifically for the intervention. These plans outline the instructional strategies, activities, and assessments implemented during the intervention period. They serve as a guide for understanding the pedagogical approach employed and offer insights into the structured L2 listening curriculum.

Teacher's Diary: A detailed teacher's diary is included, providing a qualitative narrative of the teacher's experiences, reflections, and observations throughout the intervention. This personal account offers context and a subjective perspective on the implementation of the intervention, providing a valuable qualitative dimension to the dataset.

To access and navigate through this comprehensive dataset, users will require the following software tools:

Microsoft Excel: Essential for viewing and manipulating the questionnaire results, and some statistical analyses files in spreadsheet format.

Jamovi and SPSS: To view the statistical analyses documents. It contains different statistical analyses data used to conduct the quantitative analyses. 

NVivo: Essential to view the qualitative files, such as semi-structured and stimulated-recall interviews. 

Microsoft Word: The lesson plans and potentially other textual documents are provided in Word format for ease of access and review.

Designed lesson plans - a teacher's diary - data from statistical analyses - Excel sheets - the coding process - Scripts used during the exams.
