Plots with aerofoil geometry are not provided due to copyright reasons. All files are in a 'comma-separated variable' format and named in a "fig[No][subfigure]_[description].csv" format (e.g. fig2a_M0p60.csv refers to figure 2a in the article with M0p6 representing data for M=0.6). Line plots are stored such that columns correspond to x- and y-axis with a header specifying details in a string format. Figures included:2a,3a,5a,b,6a,b,8a,b,10a,b,11a,b,14a,b,19a,b,22a,b. -------------------------- METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION -------------------------- Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: Numerical simulations were performed using ARCHER2 (UK National supercomputing facility), IRIDIS5 cluster (Univ. of Southampton) and Param Sanganak supercomputing facility (Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur) using the in-house compressible flow solver SBLI. Methods for processing the data: The raw data generated from the simulations were processed using in-house codes in MATLAB, FORTAN and Python using IRIDIS5 cluster at the University of Southampton. Software- or Instrument-specific information needed to interpret the data, including software and hardware version numbers: MATLAB, Python or Excel Standards and calibration information, if appropriate: Environmental/experimental conditions: Describe any quality-assurance procedures performed on the data: People involved with sample collection, processing, analysis and/or submission: Pradeep Moise -------------------------- DATA-SPECIFIC INFORMATION -------------------------- Line plots are stored such that columns correspond to x and y axes with a header specifying details in a string format. The symbols/variables used correspond to those used in the figures in the publication, details of which can be found there.
