Dataset in support of the Southampton doctoral thesis 'The application of optimal control techniques to the shadowing approach for time averaged sensitivity analysis of chaotic systems'
This dataset is available 'on request' due to the large file size. Please complete the request form at:
https://library.soton.ac.uk/datarequest
Most of the datasets are provided in standard spectral format.
The data provided in this dataset is divided as follows:
Lorenz:
Each image data is zipped accordingly and named appropriately.
Three initial conditions are also provided
Kuramoto_Sivashinsky:
The CLVs are zipped into one file which contains all clvs and adjoint variants
The only thing to note is that the adjoint numerical viscosity simulations are zipped into groups of the range of mu
Kolmogorov:
The clvs are zipped into clv/adjoint pairs and given the underscore_1
Also the numerical viscosity and OCS are zipped into groups of values _500 represents an alpha value of 500 and _1_2 represents a time values of 1 to 2
