A method of printing grids on to metal surfaces for deformation studies

A method of printing grids on to metal surfaces for deformation studies
A method of printing grids on to metal surfaces for deformation studies
The adaptation of printed circuit techniques for the preparation of a grid of
known dimensions on the surface of a metal is described. There are many uses for such grids; in the present work, measurements were taken to determine the strain developed within individual grains during creep.

Abstract

The adaptation of printed circuit techniques for the preparation of a grid of
known dimensions on the surface of a metal is described. There are many uses for such grids; in the present work, measurements were taken to determine the strain developed within individual grains during creep.
