The effect of dominant service orientation and collaborative agility on sustainable competitive advantage
This study explores the impact of Service Dominant Orientation (SDO) and Collaborative Agility (CA) on building Sustainable Competitive Advantage (SCA) in dynamic business and project environments, particularly in the Brazilian graphic printing industry. Through a descriptive quantitative approach with 379 survey responses, our findings reveal that the SDO can significantly contribute to achieving SCA, and this relation is mediated by CA. The analysis shows that the relationship between SDO and SCA is more complex than previously considered, highlighting the need to closely examine mediators such as CA. On a theoretical level, the study strengthens the understanding of how value cocreation indirectly influences dynamic capability and sustainability; while on a practical level, it encourages companies to implement agile project management and enhance collaboration and agility.
