This chapter will discuss Hoxton Hall as it transitioned post World War II. Specifically, it will look at the “May Scott Years” between 1945 and 1975. It relies largely—almost entirely – on oral testimony and archival research to tell its tale and it refers to repeating themes of Quaker Fellowship, Gentrification, and Hoxton Spirit.
