Research on anti-misalignment method for SWPDT system based on partial power coupling coil

Research on anti-misalignment method for SWPDT system based on partial power coupling coil
Research on anti-misalignment method for SWPDT system based on partial power coupling coil
Simultaneous wireless power and data transfer (SWPDT) addresses the need for data transfer between power transmitter and receiver in wireless power transfer system and is therefore widely used. In practice, the offset of the relative position of the coupling mechanism can lead to a significant impact on the power and data transfer characteristics. Therefore, a SWPDT method with anti-misalignment capability is proposed, which utilizes the inner and outer parts of the power coupling coils for data transmission, while utilizing an equivalent detuned series-series (SS) topology for power transfer. The proposed method can obtain stable power transfer and almost constant data transfer gain within a certain range of coupling coefficient variation.
