Dataset in support of the University of Southampton Doctoral Thesis 'Modelling and characterisation of nematic and photo–addressable liquid crystal devices'
Dataset in support of the University of Southampton Doctoral Thesis 'Modelling and characterisation of nematic and photo–addressable liquid crystal devices'. Dataset includes experimental data (transmitted intensity as a function of sinusoidal voltage) collected using the Optical Multi-Parameter Analyser (OMPA) for different liquid crystal cells. The data files are in Excel format and are organised in folders based on the chapters they appear in. The names of the csv files in the listed folders have a structure of the type {LC}_{wavelength}_{yymmdd}.csv, where LC, wavelength and the date format are the name of the liquid crystal used, the laser wavelength and the date of data collection respectively. Each file contains the following parameters: date of experiment, liquid crystal, laser wavelength, voltage frequency, and the transmitted intensity, normalised between 0 and 1, for each value of the voltage amplitude.
