Data related to Chapter 3 includes densities, biometric measurement and standing stock of the kelp Saccorhiza polyschides in Plymouth Sound. Data related to Chapter 4 includes densities and biometric measurements of remnant Saccorhiza polyschides holdfasts and associated assemblages in Plymouth Sound. Data related to Chapter 5 includes living space provided by Saccorhiza polyschides, and the abundance, biomass and richness of invertebrate assemblages associated with the kelp in Plymouth Sound.
