DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA
The images were taken with a birefringence measurement system (CRi Abrio imaging system). They can be viewed with any image viewing software, and the brightness and RGB color information from these images can be extracted using various software programs, such as MATLAB and Python.

This dataset contains the data used in the generation of Figures 3.13, 4.2, 4.10a,c,d, 7.3, 7.4, 8.7, 8.8 in the thesis.
