Dataset in support of the article 'Optical measurements of the twist constant and angle in nematic liquid crystal cells'
Dataset supporting the Scientific Reports article 'Optical measurements of the twist constant and angle in nematic liquid crystal cells'. The dataset includes an experimental data (transmitted intensity as a function of voltage) collected using the Optical Multi-Parameter Analyser (OMPA). The names of the data files (csv files) have the following structure {LC}_{wavelength}_{cell type}_{yymmdd}.csv, where LC, wavelength, cell type and the date format are the name of the liquid crystal used, the laser wavelength, the cell type (planar ot twist, in-house or commercial) and the date of data collection respectively. Each file contains the following parameters: date of experiment, liquid crystal, laser wavelength, voltage frequency, and the transmitted intensity, normalised between 0 and 1, for each value of the voltage amplitude.
