100 Gbit/s quantum-confined stark effect electro-optic modulator integrated with SiN waveguides
We present a Ge/SiGe quantum-confined Stark effect modulator integrated with SiN waveguides. The modulator has a >4.5 dB static and a 3 dB dynamic extinction ratio of 50 Gb/s. A record 100 Gb/s on-off keying modulation is also demonstrated.
