DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA
This dataset contains:
The excel file contains all quantitative and qualitative observations of 341 English local council websites conducted by the author, and the resulting magnitude coding, that were used for carrying out the web content analysis that determined the four case studies explained in chapter 4 'Research Design' and the results presented in chapter 6 'EUSS Support Across England' of the thesis.The data are splitted in two tabs: 'with Citizen Panel', which has entries for all councils that at the time of data collection had adopted a citizen panel; and 'without Citizen Panel', with entries for all council that, at the time of data collection, did not feature a citizen panel.   


Date of data collection: from 01/01/2020 to 31/12/2022.
