Generation of aperiodic picosecond pulses sequences from incoherent optical waves
Generation of aperiodic picosecond pulses sequences from incoherent optical waves
In this work, we present an original method to generate optical pulses trains with random time-interval values from incoherent broadband sources. More precisely, our technique relies on the remarkable properties of a line made of cascaded SPM-based optical regenerators. Various regimes of physical behavior have been numerically highlighted depending on the regenerator power transfer functions.

Abstract
In this work, we present an original method to generate optical pulses trains with random time-interval values from incoherent broadband sources. More precisely, our technique relies on the remarkable properties of a line made of cascaded SPM-based optical regenerators. Various regimes of physical behavior have been numerically highlighted depending on the regenerator power transfer functions.
