This final chapter summarises the book’s key findings on how the far right uses technology and imagery for recruitment. It highlights the importance of visual methods and the need to de-code propaganda, the relationship between fringe and mainstream ideas, and the appropriation of historical imagery. The chapter also discusses the benefits of interdisciplinary, multi-stakeholder, and socio-technical approaches to studying and countering online radicalisation, outlines the key contributions of the book, and the stakeholders that would benefit most from the research findings. The chapter concludes by recommending future collaborative solutions that leverage diverse expertise to develop more effective strategies against online extremism.
