This workshop will focus on the development and deployment of AI across a wide range of international contexts, considering diversity of needs and unique challenges faced in different regions of the world. Drawing on evidence from projects within RAi UK that work with partners in Africa, India and beyond, we will consider the implications for developing and embedding AI tools and resources that are sensitive to local, cultural norms and end-user experience through co-creation with communities. The aim is to surface emerging challenges, early solutions and policy implications.
