Dataset for the paper 'Making liquid crystals twitch under metamaterial-enhanced terahertz illumination: toward strong optical nonlinearity'
Dataset for Optics Express article - Making liquid crystals twitch under metamaterial-enhanced terahertz illumination: toward strong optical nonlinearity Dataset contains: 2 xlsx files: ResonancePowerTrack.xlsx - THz-TDS calibration data for the resonance power track plot. This corropsonds to Fig 5 (b) in the paper. EmitterBiasResults.xlsx - Optical transmission data for the hybrid cell for resonant and non-resonant modes. This corrosponds to Fig 5 (c) and (d) 13 Matlab datafiles: xxpp_date.mat - THz-TDS data for resonance mode of hybrid cell for different emitter bias qRef_date.mat - Empty quartz cell reference required for THz-TDS extraction. Files contain metadata, key sets are the tAxis and sAxis providing the timedomain and signal data 1 Code file test.m - This MATLAB script will perform windowing and and FFT on the THz-TDS .mat files and plot the THz-TDS data for each emitter bias value on a single plot. The intention is for this to be run in seperate folders for the resonance and non-resonance data The resonance data corrosponds to the plot made in Fig. 5 (a).
