Fowell, Edward Chaney, and Socratis Loucaides TITLE: New capability in autonomous ocean carbon observations using the Autosub Long-Range AUV equipped with novel pH and Total Alkalinity sensors JOURNAL:Environmental Science & Technology -------------------- DATA & FILE OVERVIEW -------------------- This dataset contains a compressed (zipped) folder entitled 'Hammermeister_et_al_data_for_repository_DY149.zip'. The zipped folder contains the following 10 csv files that support the data, figures, and analysis in this publication: The data files are organized by method of collection and the transect of which the data was collected as cited in the publication. Data was either collected by the Autosub Long Range (ALR) Underwater Vehicle, CTD discrete bottles, or CTD sensor onboard the ship in either the 'shelf transect' or the 'deep transect'. For all data, depth is in meters(m). 1. Shelf_ALR.csv -This is a 224952 x 15 timetable of data with headers of high frequency general data output from the ALR during the shelf transect. This includes timestamp, location, depth, temperature, conductivity, pressure, dissolved oxygen, etc. 2. Deep_ALR.csv -This is 126874 x 12 timetable timetable of data with headers of high frequency general data output from the ALR during the deep transect. This includes timestamp, location, depth, temperature, conductivity, pressure, dissolved oxygen, etc. 3. Shelf_CTD_Bottles.csv -78x16 timetable with headers containing discrete bottle data collected from the Ship's CTD rosette during the shelf transect. 4. Deep_CTD_Bottles.csv -67x15 timetable with headers containing discrete bottle data collected from the Ship's CTD rosette during the deep transect. 5. Ship_CTD_Shelf.csv -15235x11 timetable with headers direct from the CTD sensor onboard the ship's CTD rosette containing high frequency CTD data in the shelf transect. 6. Ship_CTD_Deep.csv -28549x11 timetable with headers direct from the CTD sensor onboard the ship's CTD rosette containing high frequency CTD data in the deep transect. 7. pH_ALR_Shelf.csv -497x16 timetable with headers containing pH data collected by the Lab-On-Chip pH sensor onboard the ALR during the shelf transect 8. pH_ALR_Deep.csv -234x14 timetable with headers containing pH data collected by the Lab-On-Chip pH sensor onboard the ALR during the deep transect 9. TA_ALR_Shelf.csv -187x11 timetable with headers containing TA data collected by the Lab-On-Chip TA sensor onboard the ALR during the shelf transect 10. TA_ALR_Deep.csv -125x10 timetable with headers containing TA data collected by the Lab-On-Chip TA sensor onboard the ALR during the deep transect Please direct any questions to the corresponding author Emily Hammermeister (e.m.hammermeister@soton.ac.uk)
