READ ME File For: “Financial Threat and Help-Seeking Intentions: An Analysis of Mental Wellbeing and Attachment Style Over Time” Dataset DOI: 10.5258/SOTON/D3496 ReadMe Author: STELLA PAREAS, University of Southampton ORCID ID 0009-0006-3888-4106 This dataset supports the thesis entitled: “An Investigation of the Psychological Impact of Actual and Perceived Financial Hardship on PTSD and Help-Seeking” AWARDED BY: University of Southampton DATE OF AWARD: 2025 DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA The files and anonymous data includes: 1). “Demographic_Data_TP1” – this is the demographic information for all 236 participants who took part in timepoint 1 (TP1) used in the analysis of this thesis. 2). “Comparative_TP1_SCALES_ForMANOVA” – in this file are the responses for all items (reverse coded for those applicable) and the total scores (and subscales as applicable) for all four questionnaires (FTS, ECR-S, ReQol-10, GHSQ) in timepoint 1 (TP1) only for all 236 participants. This also includes a column that identifies participants as a completer/non-completer, indicating whether they completed timepoint only, or both timepoints 1 and 2. 3). “SCALES_for_Correlations&ModMed” - the responses for all items (reverse coded for those applicable) and the total scores (and subscales as applicable) for all four questionnaires in timepoint 1 (TP1) and for the GHSQ and ReQol-10 for timepoint 2 (TP2) for participants who completed both timepoints 1 and 2 (148 participants). 4).
