Dataset in support of the thesis 'Carbon footprinting of railway embankments and cuttings: Assessing potential for carbon reduction and carbon offsetting to reach net zero A to Z NR Carbon Calculation Data FINAL 50 CASE STUDIES Rev 1 50 Completed NR Case Studies' Data in support of thesis detailed above - 6 Data Sets included here to accompany thesis as described below: "A to Z NR Case Study Descriptions FINAL 50 CASE STUDIES Rev 1" Summary description of each case study in a standardised format detailing the name, region, earthwork type, intervention level and lifetime, volume, brief works description, photo of the works (if available). "A to Z NR Carbon Calculation Data Completed Forms FINAL 50 CASE STUDIES Rev 1" Raw completed data collection form for each case study, completed by the contractor. "A to Z NR Carbon Calculation Data Queries and Responses FINAL 50 CASE STUDIES Rev 1" Document trail of queries and subsequent responses from contractors for each case study. "A to Z NR Case Study Assumptions FINAL 50 CASE STUDIES Rev 1" Assumptions made for each case study against each section of the footprint. "A to Z NR Case Study CSV Download FINAL 50 CASE STUDIES BAU Rev 1" Download of Footprint from RSSB RCT in .csv format, for each BAU A1-5 case study. "A to Z NR Case Study CSV Download FINAL 50 CASE STUDIES ER SCENARIO Rev 1" Download of Footprint from RSSB RCT in .csv format, for each ER A1-5 case study.
