AWARDED BY: University of Southampton DATE OF AWARD: 2025 DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA This dataset contains: Data from an observational, parent-reported questionnaire undertaken from parents of children <18 years of age prescribed liquid oral antimicrobials. Participants were recruited from the Children’s ED and paediatric wards of UHS and 5 GP sites across the south coast of England. The questionnaire was completed by telephone call at 10-14 days post prescription. The questionnaire covered: patient age, location of prescription, an estimate of total adherence, reasons for non-adherence, parent reported recovery times and healthcare utilisation. Ethics clearance: University of Southamton, ERGO no. 53356 Date of data collection: The study took place from January 2020 to April 2022, with a 7 month pause (March to October 2020) during the initial months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
