This document provides information on the series of JCOMM Workshops on Advances in Marine Climatology (CLIMAR) (latest in 2003) which have alternated (approximately every two years since 1999) with the International Workshops on Advances in the Use of Historical Marine Climate Data (MARCDAT), (latest in 2005). The Team will also be informed regarding the planning status for the upcoming CLIMARIII Session, tentatively scheduled for Poland in May 2008, and about the consolidated Recommendations now being tracked from both workshop series at: www.marineclimatology.net.
