Review of the Marine Climatological Summaries Scheme
This document which will be presented at the Fourth Session of the SOT (SOTIV, Geneva, Switzerland, from 16 to 21 April 2007), provides a general review of the current status and future plans emerging from the Data Management Program Area (DMPA) and its Expert Team on Marine Climatology (ETMC), for the Marine Climatological Summaries Scheme (MCSS). These plans initially included a new crosscutting Task Team on Delayed Mode Voluntary Observing Ship Data (TTDMVOS).
